زمینه های تحقیقاتی : کنترل ریزساختار و خواص مکانیکی فولادهای پیشرفته، تحقیقات تجربی و شبیه سازی انجماد و تکامل ریزساختار در ذوب و جوش لیزری و تولید افزایشی مواد فلزی (پرینت سه بعدی) <با تکیه بر مفاهیم پیشرفته متالورژی فیزیکی و استفاده از روش های نوین ذوب در خلا و میکروسکوپ های الکترونی پیشرفته در قالب همکاری های علمی مشترک با مراکز تحقیقاتی داخل و خارج از کشور، تحقیقات متعددی روی فولادهای ماراجینگ (هوافضا)، دوفازی (خودرو)، زنگ نزن آنتی باکتریال (محیط های بیولوژیک)، هادفیلد (صنایع ریلی) و تنگش مغناطیسی (سنسورهای مغناطیسی) انجام یافته است>. در حال حاضر، تمرکز اینجانب بر انجماد و تغییر حالت فولادهای پیشرفته در ذوب و جوش لیزری و تولید افزایشی است و بدین منظور از شبیه سازی چندمقیاسی، تئوری رشد دندریت، محاسبات ترموکلک و روش های نوین آنالیز مواد استفاده می شود. موضوعات تدریس: محاسبات بلورشناسی و پدیده فصل مشترک در تغییر حالت، پراش پرتوهای ایکس و الکترون از مواد نانوساختار، روش های پیشرفته ریخته گری، انجماد فلزات و فولادهای پیشرفته
مراکز تحقیقاتی : حسب نیاز جهت انجام پروژه ها از امکانات دانشکده مهندسی مواد دانشگاه صنعتی سهند، مرکز دگرگونی های فازی پیشرفته دانشگاه تهران و مرکز تولید افزایشی دانشگاه سابانجی استانبول استفاده شده و امکان همکاری با سایر مراکز دانشگاهی (ژاپن و اتریش) نیز وجود دارد.
